A Summer At Snoozer- Moxie the Wonder Dog
Sun, sand, seafood, tourists – they are all what make Maine great in the summer. My fortunate daughter is heading to Maine to be a lifeguard at the beach this summer. It’s great to be on college break for the summer, and there is probably no better job than spending the week as a guard at a beach in Maine.
Only one problem – what to do with Moxie the Wonder dog? My daughter rescued Moxie from the Greenville Humane Society about 8 months ago, and Moxie has proved to be the best dog someone could ask for. Playful but not rough, curious but not aggressive, and just one of the best dispositions I have ever seen.
The question is: What to do with the beloved Moxie?
My daughter’s grandmother is a bit old to watch Moxie and the alternative would be for her to spend way too much time in a crate.
So here comes Dad to the rescue! I drove my daughter to Maine over the weekend, flew back yesterday, and picked Moxie up at the kennel today. Lucky for me, Moxie the Wonder Dog will be my companion for the next couple months while her Mom is away.
After two days in the kennel playing with some new pals, she came to work with me today, and has not had the energy to leave her Cozy Caveâ„¢. Â Rest assured, when she finally gets her energy back she can meet all her new pals here at Snoozerâ„¢ including Lily the Intrepid.
Dogs are welcome at work here and Moxie will have the pleasure of spending her days with lots of dog loving employees and their companions!
It’s a dog’s life indeed.
