What Makes A Good Dog Bed.
The Difference Between Snoozers And Ordinary Dog Beds.
At Snoozer, we joke that if dogs could make beds, they would make ‘em just like we do. But the truth is, we believe it.
At a glance, and to the touch, the difference between Snoozers and ordinary dog beds are obvious to dogs as well as their human counterparts. Snoozers feature durable, pleasing fabrics that drape well, as well as hearty, supportive foam, overlock stitching, poly fill with cedar chips, liners and covers that can easily be cleaned or even replaced, and so much more.
Snoozer dog beds begin with great materials, but it’s the people who sew and assemble them that make them great.
We manufacture the great majority of products with pride right here in the USA. Our people take pride in their work, and it shows in every Snoozer.
Terria Holmes has been at Snoozer for 14 years, and supervising the sewing floor for 11 years. She says she treats every Snoozer product as if she made it herself.
“I like to look at other dog beds in stores, and that makes me think Snoozer is the best. The microfiber is the same as the microfiber you find in furniture. It’s something a dog can rough up and it will still perform.”
Seamstress Marguerite Chandler agrees. “I’ve worked in the garment industry for 15 years, but I’ve never worked for luxury beds for dogs…the designs are whimsical, they’re colorful, they’re fun.”
Marguerite appreciates the quality in every product. “We’re all detail-oriented,” she adds. “We’re particular, and no one does sub-standard work.”
Addie Johnson agrees. She’s been at Snoozer for nine years. “If you love to sew and you care about what you do, it will last longer,” she says.
We couldn’t agree more Addie. Obviously the folks at Snoozer love what they do. Maybe it’s not “what” makes a good bed after all. Maybe it’s “who.”
