Snoozer was established in Greenville, South Carolina in 1985 by Norm O’Donnell with the intention of manufacturing and selling the finest American made dog beds, dog car seats, dog sofas and pet accessories available at affordable prices. 40 years later, his two sons Gary and Brian O’Donnell carry on those same values. Snoozer is family owned and operated, and our products are sewn, assembled and shipped by hand here in the USA.
So What Makes Snoozer Different?
As we like to say, there’s not a single difference between a Snoozer and a dog bed off the shelf: there are several.
Quality and durability are sewn into every detail. You can see it in the made-to-order fabric. You can feel it in superior, resilient cushioning. You can even smell it in the cedar shavings that accompany our poly fill.
Other details aren’t as obvious, but they matter just as much. For instance, overlocked stitching hides zippers on product covers. That’s because liners are made to be washer-friendly, just like our covers. When the time comes, you can replace the filling and make your Snoozer like new again, year in and year out.

Pet Friendly and Green
At Snoozer, we have chosen not to have our products’ structural foam treated with any chemicals. This is in consideration of any potentially negative effects such treatments may have on a pet. Because our foam is untreated, it will develop a honey golden hue over time. This color enrichment process is natural, and not indicative of prior use.
Additionally, in a conscious effort to reduce the use of non-essential plastics, we have also chosen to forego fully wrapping individual products in favor of using quality, recyclable cardboard packaging.
We want to communicate our pet friendly and green product and packing standards (non-treated foam and low use of plastic) so you, as our cherished customers, know these are indications of how Snoozer as a brand has chosen to care for the planet and all pets.
